Zlatan Ibrahimovic shows age is no barrier by breaking LA Galaxy club record with hat-trick

Zlatan Ibrahimovic awakened LA Galaxy’s club record for goals in a year in their 7-2 victory over Sporting Kansas City on Sunday night and netted a hat-trick.
The 37-year-old scored his 25th, 24th and 26th aims of the effort that will help snap a four-match winless run.
Ibrahimovic scored his first goal following his initial penalty was saved before surpassing the past goalscoring record of Carlos Ruiz with two strikes.
Uriel Antuna joe Corona plus a double from Sebastian Lletget assisted Galaxy.
Ibrahimovic has now scored 48 goals in 51 matches in the MLS.
“I think I’m the best ever to play in MLS. And that’s without joking,” Ibrahimovic explained.
“Scoring goals is easy, you simply need to be like Zlatan and it is forthcoming,” said the former Manchester United striker, who’s two objectives behind top scorer Carlos Vela.
“I try to help the team in the best way and that is by accomplishing goals. I scored and I must keep going, I need to help my group in the best manner and that is to score goals and make it a lot easier.
“it is a terrific outcome, it was a fantastic game.
“The end result says something else however, the first half was very even, we performed against a fantastic team that plays great football. At the second we had been more powerful and once we got the opportunities we had been scoring so that was the distinction.
“It is good, we’ve got four games to move. To acquire, to receive the confidence, to score goals for the goal difference. Everyone did a fantastic job, even if we were a tiny bit tired at the end, but we did a pretty great job.”
LA Galaxy moved into a point ahead of San Jose, fifth place in the Western Conference and just two facing Portland.
