Zlatan Ibrahimovic shows age is no barrier by breaking LA Galaxy club record with hat-trick

Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted a hat-trick and awakened LA Galaxy’s club record for goals in a year in their victory over Sporting Kansas City on Sunday night.
Even the 37-year-old scored his 25th 24th and 26th aims of the campaign to help snap a four-match winless run.
Ibrahimovic scored his first goal following his penalty was rescued before surpassing Carlos Ruiz goalscoring record with 2 strikes.
Joe Corona, Uriel Antuna and a double from Sebastian Lletget assisted Galaxy.
Ibrahimovic has scored 48 goals in 51 games from the MLS.
“I think I’m the best ever to play in MLS. And that is without joking,” Ibrahimovic said.
“Scoring goals is simple, you just have to be like Zlatan and it’s coming,” said the former Manchester United striker, who’s two objectives behind leading scorer Carlos Vela.
“I try to help the team in the best way and that is by accomplishing goals. I scored and make it easier for everybody and I have to keep going, I have to help my team and that is to score goals.
“It’s a great outcome, it was a great game.
“The result says something else however, the first half was very even, we played with a good team that plays good football. At the second we had been more powerful and when we obtained the chances we were scoring so that has been the difference.
“It’s great, we still have four games to go. To acquire, to find the assurance to score several goals for the goal gap. Everybody did a fantastic job, even when we had been a tiny bit tired in the finish, but we did a fantastic job.”
LA Galaxy went into just two facing Portland, a point ahead of San Jose along with fifth place in the Western Conference.
