آرٹ سے متعلق معمے حل کرنے کے ماہر اطالوی محققین نے دعوٰی کیا ہے کہ وہ لیونارڈو ڈاونچی کے شہرہ آفاق شاہکار مونا لیزا کے ماڈل کی شناخت تک پہنچ گئے ہیں۔ ان کے مطابق مونا لیزا کا ماڈل دراصل ایک مرد ہے!
اطالوی نیشنل کمیٹی برائے کلچر ہیریٹج کے چیئرمین Silvano Vinceti کا کہنا ہے کہ مشہور فنکار ڈاونچی کی اس تصویر کے پیچھے اصل تحریک یا انسپریشن، سالائی نامی ان کا شاگرد اور ممکنہ محبوب ہے۔
تاہم اس دعویٰ کو پیرس میں Louvre میوزیم کے ماہرین نے یکسر مسترد کر دیا ہے ۔ Louvre وہ میوزیم ہے جہاں مونا لیزا کی معروف پینٹنگ نمائش کے لیے رکھی گئی ہے۔
سالائی کا اصل نام Gian Giacomo Caprotti تھا ۔ ڈاونچی کا زن صفت یہ شاگرد ان کے ساتھ 25 برس تک رہا۔ خیال کیا جاتا ہے کہ سالائی نے ڈاونچی کی کئی تصاویر کے لیے بحیثیت ماڈل کام کیا ہے ۔ Vinceti کے مطابق ان دونوں کے درمیان پائے جانے والے رشتے کی نوعیت نہ صرف مبہم ہے بلکہ خیال ہے کہ ان دونوں کے درمیان رومانوی تعلق بھی قائم تھا۔
Vinceti کے مطابق ڈاونچی کی چند تصاویر مثلاﹰ "St. John the Baptist” اور "Angel Incarnate” میں موجود مرد چہروں کے خدوخال کا جب موازنہ کیا گیا تو ان کی مونا لیزا کی ناک اور دہانے کے ساتھ حیرت انگیز اور غیر معمولی مشابہت دیکھنے کو ملی۔ Vinceti کا مزید کہنا ہے انہیں اور ان کی ٹیم کو مونا لیزا میں ڈاونچی کے دانستہ طور پر چھوڑے ہوئے نشانات بھی ملے ہیں۔ اطالوی محقق کے مطابق یہ نشان مونا لیزکی آنکھوں میں پینٹ کیے گئے دو نہایت چھوٹے انگریزی حروف L اور S ہیں۔ اس حوالے سے Vinceti کہتے ہیں، ” اس پورٹریٹ کی نہایت اعٰلی درجے کی ڈیجیٹل کاپی کوقریب سے پرکھنے سے تصویر کی آنکھوں میں چھپے نام Leonardo کا پہلا حرف L اور Salai کا پہلا حرف S ظاہر ہو گیا۔”
دوسری جانب Vinceti کے ان دعوؤں کو مسترد کرتے ہوئے Louvre میوزیم کا کہنا ہے کہ انہوں نے اس تصویر پر نہ صرف 2004 بلکہ 2009 میں بھی ہرممکن لیبارٹری ٹیسٹ کر کے دیکھ لیا ہے اور Vinceti کے دعوؤں کے برعکس کسی بھی قسم کی کوئی تحریر، کوئی حرف یا نمبر نظر نہیں آیا۔
خبر رساں ادارے اے ایف پی سے بات کرتے ہوئے میوزیم کے ترجمان کا کہنا تھا کہ لکڑی کی خاص پینل پر بنائی گئی یہ تصویر جیسے جیسے پرانی ہوتی جا رہی ہے، اس کی لکڑی اور پینٹ پر کئی باریک دراڑیں نمایاں ہو رہی ہیں جس کے باعث نمایاں ہونے والی کئی اشکال کا غلط مفہوم نکال لیا جاتا ہے۔
ادھر Vinceti کا کہنا ہے کہ کسی بھی قسم کے شکوک و شبہات کو ختم کرنے کے لیے وہ اپنی ٹیم کے ساتھ فرانس کے اس میوزیم کے اشتراک سے اس تصویر پر مزید ٹیسٹ کرنے پر تیار ہیں ۔ Louvre ان کی اس پیشکش کو قبول کرتا ہے یا نہیں اس کا فیصلہ ہونا ابھی باقی ہے۔
